چکیده

In this work, we shall study k-inflation theories with non-minimal coupling of the scalar field to gravity, in presence only a higher-order kinetic term form $$\sim \hbox {const}\times X^{\mu }$$ , $$X=\frac{1}{2}\partial _{\mu } \phi \partial ^{\mu }\phi $$ . The will be focused cases where potential is included or absent, and evolution assumed satisfy slow-roll constant-roll condition. case models potential, calculate indices corresponding observational theory, demonstrate that resulting theory compatible latest Planck data. same results are obtained case, at least potential. without considered, less appealing since these strongly model dependent, for power-law choice coupling, non-viable. Finally, due fact tensor power spectra conformal invariant quantities, argue Einstein frame counterpart can viable invariance indices. more involved thus difficult work it analytically, so one implication our provide evidence viability another class models.

Topological inflation induced by a non-minimally coupled massive scalar field

We reanalyze cosmology of a non-minimally coupled massive scalar field which was originally discussed by Futamase and Maeda in the context of chaotic inflation scenario. We find a new type of inflationary solution where inflation occurs inside a domain wall. This new solution relaxes constraints on the coupling constant for successful inflation.

Preheating with non-minimally coupled scalar fields in higher-curvature inflation models

Takashi Torii ‡ Department of Physics, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Meguro, Tokyo 152, Japan (June 4, 2005) In higher-curvature inflation models (R + αnR ), we study a parametric preheating of a scalar field χ coupled non-minimally to a spacetime curvature R (ξRχ). In the case of R-inflation model, efficient preheating becomes possible for rather small values of ξ, i.e. |ξ|∼ several. Although...

Resonant particle production with non-minimally coupled scalar fields in preheating after inflation

(June 7, 1999) We investigate a resonant particle production of a scalar field χ coupled non-minimally to a spacetime curvature R (ξRχ) as well as to an inflaton field φ (gφχ). In the case of g ∼ 3×10−4, ξ effect assists g-resonance in certain parameter regimes. However, for g ∼ 3× 10−4, g-resonance is not enhanced by ξ effect because of ξ suppression effect as well as a back reaction effect. I...

k-Essence Non-Minimally Coupled with Gauss-Bonnet Invariant for Inflation

Abstract: In this paper, we investigated inflationary solutions for a subclass of Horndeski models where a scalar field is non-minimally coupled with the Gauss–Bonnet invariant. Examples of canonical scalar field and k-essence to support the early-time acceleration are considered. The formalism to calculate the perturbations in a Friedmann–Robertson–Walker (FRW) universe and to derive the spect...

Dilaton Gravity with a Non-minimally Coupled Scalar Field

We discuss the two-dimensional dilaton gravity with a scalar field as the source matter. The coupling between the gravity and the scalar, massless, field is presented in an unusual form. We work out two examples of these couplings, and solutions with black-hole behaviour are discussed and compared with those found in the literature.
